First and foremost, the solution to global problems: moe.

~ ~ ~

As I was taking out my contact lenses this morning, I was greeted with the usual occasional sudden extreme loss of vision. Interestingly enough, I looked a few years younger in the mirror with that loss of vision. The slight blemishes on my skin (okay, this is sounding kind of creepy...) weren't visible without 20/20 vision. I realized that it was a perfect time to turn this into a metaphor for a lovely proverb. One can see others' flaws much more easily than one's own. I also realized that the Autumn Nico Nico Daikaigi started about an hour ago and I was missing it. Quite a bit of sadness there. I hope there will be videos uploaded full of Sekihan goodness.

In other news, the visual novel project is underway. The plot: a high schooler discovers a Sims-like game that portrays the Earth. Through that game, he can control people's actions. In short, he becomes god. But who made this game? Confusion ensues when a team of espers appear to find out. And, of course, what about the other copies of the game...?

There will also be a little sister. There must be a little sister.

Hanbi, I expect some pro-pixiv-level art.

Random Japanese Word of the Day:
瞬間移動(shunkan idou) - instantaneous movement, ie. teleportation. Very very useful word that you will probably use everyday.

Weekly Vocaloid Rankings #160

Highlight of this week: Hatsune Miku no Shoushitsu coming back from 50th...because of all the El Shaddai MADs.

In other news, new Sekihan collab with Yuge: Audience wo wakasu teido no nouryoku, which translates to along the lines of "the ability to heat up the audience."

Halloween = dance around with pumpkin on head.

Weekly Vocaloid Rankings #159

There haven't been any amazing songs lately. I'm hoping the upcoming season will bring some nice, pretty compositions.

Also, China: the only place where pouring oil in a thin stream is more amazing than perfectly accurate archery.

I've learned that drinking milk tea right before bed is not a good idea. On the plus side, I finally contemplated my meaning of life.

Weekly Vocaloid Rankings #158

Nice to see Hello/How are you back up here, although it's no surprise with the sudden boom. Too bad 40mP's song dropped from 1st to 5th, but at least it's still in top 5. Julietta and Romewo is a nice new song-very catchy. Kuri Purin's version is extremely nice.

It's been a year since Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari, huh...

Random Japanese Word of the Day:
百合(yuri) - lily. And, you know...

A new challenger appears! ...or something like that. Piko's single "Story" has released, and from out of nowhere comes a new NND singer named Eir(エイル). She's female, but...seriously she sounds exactly like Piko.

Exactly like Piko. By the way, something that resembles something else, you say 似ている(niteiru), or more commonly, just 似てる(niteru).
